Hallbergmoos - Munich

Frequently Asked Questions

All you need to know about the festival

Got questions? No worries! Here are the answers to everything from "Where do I sleep?" to "Is there beer?"

📎 General

Trveheim is short for the Trveheim Festival – an old-school heavy metal festival focused on bands in the style of the 1980s. It is organized and run by the non-profit association Trveheim e.V.

Trveheim takes place at Hausler-Hof in Hallbergmoos near Munich. The venue is located very close to Munich Airport.

Trveheim usually takes place on the last weekend of August. In some cases, such as in 2025, it may happen one week earlier. The exact dates are always announced well in advance.

Ideally, you should enjoy heavy metal – especially the sound of the 1980s. If you're not into metal at all, chances are you won’t feel very comfortable at the festival.

The Hausler-Hof venue is generally accessible for people with disabilities. However, some of our temporary festival barriers may limit access in certain areas. To ensure the best possible accessibility, we kindly ask affected guests to contact us in advance.

🍻 Food & Drink

Of course! Trveheim offers Helles (lager) and wheat beer (Weißbier) from Erdinger, as well as the local favorite “Goaßmaß” (a mix of beer and cola with a shot of schnapps). There are also other beer and drink options available – something for every taste.

Yes, several food stalls in the infield also offer vegan dishes. So even guests following a plant-based diet will find something delicious to enjoy.

What is the WeiĂźwurst-Express?

The WeiĂźwurst-Express is a truly unique Bavarian breakfast experience!
Every morning, a tractor with two trailers drives across the campsite, featuring:

  • a field kitchen full of freshly cooked WeiĂźwĂĽrste (Bavarian sausages),

  • a beer truck serving pretzels and draft WeiĂźbier,

  • and traditional Bavarian accordion music played live.

It’s an unforgettable mobile breakfast you won't want to miss!

You are only allowed to bring your own food and drinks to the campsite. Glass bottles are prohibited. Outside food and drinks are not permitted inside the festival infield.

🏕️ Camping & Sleeping

Yes, camping is included with your festival ticket. You can pitch your tent at the designated campsite and stay overnight.

Yes, but sleeping in your car is only allowed with a special motorhome ticket. This must be purchased separately, and the number of spots is very limited.

Yes, there are a few hotels in Hallbergmoos, but not many. Since Hausler-Hof is somewhat remote, it can be difficult to get to these hotels as taxis are hard to find.

No, the parking lot is a short walk away from the campsite. Therefore, you should plan how to best transport your belongings from your car to your tent.

Yes, there are 24/7 warm showers and flush toilets right next to the campsite. Additionally, there are toilet areas on the left and right sides of the stage inside the hall. In the infield, the popular #soachrinna pissoir is also available.

🎒 What to bring?

At the very least, bring your ticket – you won’t get in without it. We also recommend a tent, a sleeping bag, and some cash. That’s all you really need for the weekend. You won’t need to bring food: there are plenty of food and drink stands, and even a “Weißwurst Express” comes by the campsite every morning.

Glass bottles, knives or other weapons, and large gas bottles are not allowed on the festival grounds. Small gas cartridges (e.g. for camping stoves) are permitted. In general, standard festival safety rules apply.

Unfornately not.

🎟️ Tickets & Entry

Tickets are only available through our official online shop on the website. Offers from other sellers or platforms are not authorized and should be considered unreliable.

As a rule, we do not offer day tickets, as they significantly increase our organizational workload. In exceptional cases – for example, if presale numbers are lower than expected – we may release a limited number of day tickets on short notice.

Ideally, don’t lose your ticket – our system does not allow us to block or reissue tickets. If it does happen, please contact shop@trveheim.com. We’ll review the situation on a case-by-case basis, but cannot guarantee a free replacement.

Yes, that’s no problem. Our tickets are not personalized and can be transferred to someone else.

❔Miscellaneous

Both! The concerts and bar take place indoors in the large hall.
Camping, merch booths, food stalls, and the beer garden are all outdoors. Our “Schänke” even combines both – with sections inside and outside.

Yes, there’s a REWE supermarket about 3 km away in Hallbergmoos. It’s just a short drive by car, but quite a long walk. If you don’t have a vehicle, it’s best to plan ahead or rely on the food and drinks available at the festival.

No worries – all shows take place indoors and will continue as planned even if it rains.
However, we strongly recommend securing your tent properly and being prepared with weatherproof clothing, as the camping and outdoor areas are, of course, exposed to the elements.

In case of problems or emergencies, you have three options:

  1. Trveheim crew – easily recognizable by their red crew shirts. You’ll find them at the bars, stalls, and info points, or moving around the venue.

  2. Security – their base is located near the passage to the infield. You’ll also find them at entrances, emergency exits, and throughout the grounds.

  3. BRK (Bavarian Red Cross) – they’re on-site every year with a converted city bus that serves as a medical station. You’ll find them just outside the infield passage.

Yes, there are two merchandise stands at the festival. The Trveheim stand offers official festival merch and also functions as an info point.
The second stand is run by our crew or sometimes the bands themselves and offers merch from the bands currently playing. Important: Band merch is usually only available for a limited time around their performance slot – so don’t miss it!

Yes, we work with a professional security company that supports us during the festival and ensures the safety of all attendees.

The infield is the main festival area inside the Hausler-Hof, including the concert hall and the beer garden. It’s only open during live music hours.
Access is restricted and only possible through the “Schleuse” (entry gate), where your wristband will be checked. The infield is separated from the rest of the site, such as the campsite.
