No Headliners?

No Headliners?
Trveheim Festival Vol. 9
TRVEHEIMERS! đŸ€˜đŸ”„đŸŽ€
No “headliners” this year? And yeah — that’s on purpose.
At Trveheim, we’ve been moving away from the classic headliner idea for quite some time. The band closing the night isn’t automatically “the biggest” one. Instead, we’re giving younger bands more and more opportunities to close out the day — partly because of their energy, and partly because some of the old legends simply aren’t fighting to be on stage at 1 AM anymore.
Last year’s Ross the Boss moment? Almost felt like a sign. Maybe it was. Maybe not.
The important thing:
We don’t see a reason to highlight one band above the others just because they happen to play last. Every band on the lineup has its own significance and deserves its place.
That’s why we’d rather put the focus on the running order.
Set times may vary. In general, every band at Trveheim gets a 50-minute set — if they want it. Shorter sets only happen at the request of the bands themselves. Some bands prefer to bring their energy in a compact way. Others like to take their time. And sometimes we give rising acts — like Ambush (Vol. 5) or Seven Sisters last year — the chance to close the festival day and play until they fall off the stage.
And then there are bands you’d love to see for hours
but in reality, the set they play is exactly the one that fits them best.
There’s no single rule behind it. Just a lot of factors — and one goal:
A lineup that feels right.
For the bands. For you. For the whole damn farm.
Tonight we will release the running order, stay tuned!
